ROLL 20 CON

Greetings Dead Tree Fans!

We have a slew of announcements this week! The first is that we will be hosting a 24hr game for Roll 20 con! Which is happening Saturday June 24th at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT.  The rules for the game are the same as last year’s Roll 20 Con game

We will be using our alpha system rule. Characters are to be level 5 and you get 1300 caps to purchase whatever equipment you want. If you can afford it, you can have it.

You can sign up for the game, as well as find more in depth info on the game HERE: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/47414/fallout-equestria-experience-remains

other than that, the big things that happened were the usual. We worked our asses off, formatting and doing art.

Also! Our Indiegogo campaign finished this week. We raised 3800$, which in all honesty we consider a fantastic success. We know it is no where near our initial goal but that goal was for our preferred printer. The money we did raise though will still allow us to get everything professionally printed with our backup printer. So we want to thank you all for your support! We absolutely ca NOT wait to share it all with you!

That’s everything for this week! See you around Dead Tree Fans!

Sleep? What’s Sleep?

Greetings Dead Tree Fans!

We’re going to keep this rather short and sweet

Major things that happened this week were: frenzied prep for Trotcon, dealing with some faulty equipment and lots of formatting. Those massive lists take a LOT of time to put into a book. Aside from the lists, the books are pretty much formatted though.

Lastly we just want to remind everyone that:

OUR INDIEGOGO CAMPAIGN ENDS IN 3 SHORT DAYS!!!

So now is the time to secure your copy of this project. We know a lot of you were saying that you wanted to get a copy when it was “released”. But we can’t guarantee and availability when the campaign is over. So get yours now! HERE

With that, we’ll see you next week Dead Tree Fans!

#COWABUNGA DAY

GREETINGS DEAD TREE FANS AND HAPPY COWABUNGA DAY, YOU FANTASTIC PEOPLE YOU!

For those of you who are NOT Fans of FlorkofCows. Cowabunga Day is a holiday to aggressively celebrate your friends and show them how much they mean to you with aggressive, cherishing actions. Like Drop kicks, RKOs, gut punches, and the infamous, spinning back kick of total appreciation and cherishment.

We hope your Cowabunga Day is as joyful as it is painful!

For those not part of our Discord server, which you can join HERE:

here is the message we gave to all our fans this morning:

Happy Cowabunga day to all of you here
The gut punching is our way of showing our appreciation for your support as we hope to GRIND YOUR EXPECTATIONS INTO THE DIRT WITH OUR AWESOME BOOKS. Seriously, we finished the books 6 months ago and are just out back beating peoples expectations to death with them. Come September we hope your expectations are nothing more than chunky salsa, and the broken bones remind you how much we love and appreciate you all.

But seriously
We want to be arrested for how brutally we destroy your expectations and go above and beyond them.

With that, lets get on with the news, and yes we delayed todays blog post simply to wish you all a happy Cowabunga Day to you today.
Fight us, we ARE SOUND!

This past week, the most interesting thing that happened, is still final touches, expect that to be the headline for the next month or so. Things are shaping up nicely, and so long as no major setbacks happen, we should be right on schedule! Art is undergoing last touches and final checks. lots to do on that one, and we are prepping for TrotCon as well. Talking about conventions. We have been accepted for a panel at BronyCon 2017. So that’s a thing. Expect to see us there. . We’ll discuss that more as the time comes though.

Untill next week Dead Tree Fans!

Trotting On Down To TrotCon

Blog post 13

Greetings Dead Tree Fans!

That’s right! We are OFFICIALLY going to be at Trotcon 2017 in Columbus Ohio! We will be presenting a panel on the Saturday of the convention. Our panel will mainly be focusing on the completion of our Fallout Equestria PnP project. The release of the Indiegogo and the books, our plan for what is next as well as a few other things! We will also be running games in their Table Top Games room for the majority of the convention. Lastly we will be running a Vendor’s Table! That’s right! all the fantastic stuff that we sold at Ciderfest 2016 will be available, including the fantastic merch we stole from P.A.B.S. this week. Posters, badges, bottlecaps, new and old. As well as some possible overstock from our Indiegogo. But that depends on turn around times, stock levels, and if we have enough orders to… order extras for the convention. So don’t count on it, if you want to guarantee a copy of our books, miniatures, CDs or others, we suggest you Head on down to our Indiegogo  and reserve a copy today! There’s only TWO WEEKS left until the end. after that, well we can’t really guarantee anything. But who knows! So be sure to check it out!

Next we will run you through what has happened this week… mainly just book formatting. L9OBL has been slaving away to reformat all the books for our backup printers. The size change isn’t much, but it creates a heck of a lot of work. He has been livestreaming most nights so if you enjoy good music, kerning, and sneak peaks. Check out our Picarto!

That was the majority of what happened this week. The following month and a half is probably going to get rather intense for us as we juggle finishing things up for the release, and getting ready for Trotcon!

Until next week Dead Tree Fans! As usual, be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter. Check out our Indiegogo, Discord Server and Patreon, and don’t forget to leave a comment!

Paper-cuts, Dirty Water and Exhaustion

Greetings Dead Tree Fans,

I’m not gonna call this one late, as we usually post these at the ends or our Sunday. We’ve been up quite late working hard to bring you the best PnP this side of the wasteland so our Sunday hasn’t ended yet.

*Yawn*

Though it’s about to, so here’s the quick rundown

Late nights, long hours, lots of formatting, editing, art and touch-ups. A lot of scurrying and frantic work, some stress. I boiled water notice, not enough sleep. Lots and lots of work.

Night Dead Tree Fans. We’ll talk to you next week. Don’t forget to check out our Facebook, Twitter, Patreon, Indiegogo and Discord server! Also be sure to leave a comment!

Another Book Another Week

Greetings Dead Tree Fans!

We are here again this week with a rather boring and short update.

The majority of what happened this week was book formatting and tidying , and paperwork, as well as last minute balancing and double checking.

We hate to leave it so short but that’s really the long of it. L9OBL, has been doing a lot of livestreaming on our Picarto as he re-formats all the books for the backup printer, and our Discord server has been quite lively, so we suggest you check that all out!

Until next week Dead Tree Fans! Don’t forget to leave a comment and share with your friends!

Crazy Random Late-enstances

Greetings Dead Tree Fans!

Yes, today’s yesterday’s blog post is late. Mainly because L9OBL, the guy who normally writes these posts, called called into work due to the flooding in Montreal, Quebec. L9OBL’s day job makes him liable to be called into work on his days off due to natural disasters. So that’s the reason why we are late, it’s actually a super legitimate reason this time and not us forgetting because we are so wrapped up in working on this project and then forgetting. Weird we know!

That being said, this past week had a lot happen. A couple books are 100% done their formatting for our backup printer, which is nice. The map board also had it’s rework finished for the backup printer. Lot’s of art got done and our Discord server has seen a fantastic increase in users. With game recruitment, as well as general talk. It’s been a lot of fun chatting with our fans.

Lastly our Indiegogo has been doing well. A lot better than we actually thought it would do (to be honest we had doubts that we would get 500$ let alone 2000$). And while YES everything is GUARANTEED to be manufactured and shipped out to our backers. The one thing that IS NOT guaranteed is us having extra stock to sell afterwards. We hear a lot of people saying: “Oh this looks great! I really want this, I’ll get it when it releases.” Well, it has released on Indiegogo. The reason it was released on Indiegogo was so we could raise funds to get the books printed. If the Indiegogo does well enough, we will have extra books to sell. If it doesn’t, then we will only have enough for the Indiegogo backers. So if you want to guarantee a set with our limited stock. Check out our Indiegogo and reserve a copy.

With that being said, we hope you all had a fantastic week! Until next time Dead Tree Fans!

Stone Sticks and Dead Trees

Greetings Dead Tree Fans!

There isn’t too much to update you on this week. We are working hard on art, and formatting and editing to finish up all of our books. Our Indiegogo is still live, and to top it all off, we are starting up a live-stream podcast to talk about various Table Top PnP topics as well as to answer any questions you all might have for us. These Podcasts will be every other Monday, Live-streamed over Twitch at 2:30PM Eastern. The Podcasts will then be put on YouTube the week after it is live-streamed.

Also, we stumbled across a fan who recorded our BABSCon 2017 Panel and uploaded it to YouTube. So if you missed our panel, you can still check it out HERE!

Until next week Dead Tree Fans!

BABSCon Debrief!

pipboy

Greetings Dead Tree Fans!

We are back from BABSCon 2017! And boy what a Convention! We aren’t going to bore you with the nitty gritty details but long story short. BABSCon was a resounding success! We demoed yet another book, The Diary of a Mary Sue, ran games all convention long in the tabletop games room. Had a FANTASTIC panel with a great turn out! We got to talk face to face with all of our fans, new and old (spoiler: That’s our favourite part)!

The other BIG NEWS is that we launched our INDIEGOGO during our panel! That’s right! you can now Pre-Order all the fun stuff we have been talking about for the last couple years! We are still in a crunch, but everything should be done and finalized, ready for printing before the end of the campaign! CDs with Digital copies of our books on them for 25$ (Or 20$ for the first 100 backers). You can get the Wasteland Survival Guide for 40$.  Three book sets for a discounted price of 100$. All Six books, with a shelf box and GM Blind Screen for free, at the price of 200$. There is also the ever expansive Box set that has EVERYTHING we are offering, bundled in a neat little box. All the books , dice, minifigs, CD etc. With free shipping! We are also partnered with BackerKit, allowing you to get add-ons and to streamline our shipping and logistics! So check it out HERE and share the link: https://igg.me/at/ProjectDeadTree with all your friends and families!

On a side note: we’d like to remind everyone, that our monetary goal of 160,000$, is there with the intention of meeting minimum order for our preferred printer. We have a backup printer who has no minimum order, and this project WILL STILL HAPPEN even if we don’t meet our goal. The only difference is that we would like to print our books in A4, but our backup printer only offers 8.5×11. So worry not. you WILL get what you ordered on our Indiegogo! No matter what! So go take a look at all the awesome things we have to offer!

Next we also launched a Discord server! The intent is to have a localized place for everyone to find and recruit for games and to just talk about Fallout Equestria and Table Top RPGs in general! You can find the link to that HERE. Come join us in our magical post apocalyptic adventures!

Other than that, we also ran into the fantastic people at EASTCorp. Who are working on some awesome Fallout Equestria lore audio stuff. Mainly they do confessions of a wasteland pony and the Wasteland Survival Guide audio plays! You can find their Youtube channel HERE. We suggest checking out their awesome stuff!

Next, we are diving into our last months of work. There is much to do, and much to organize. This week has been mostly paperwork and meetings and other boring stuff. Art is in it’s very last stretch, about 95% of it is done. Books are undergoing formatting. Editing is wrapping up and we are working hard to bring you the best Table Top RPG we possibly can!

Lastly, and this is the most important thing. We want to thank all of you! Yes YOU our fantastically amazing fans! Without you, this wouldn’t be a thing. So please, keep being awesome… and spread our Indiegogo around like internet herpes. But mostly, keep being awesome!

Until next time Dead Tree Fans!
